<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door opening/closing device which maintains well-balanced left/right suspension of the folding door and realizes easy installation and maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: In a folding door opening/closing device 1, when two nuts 12, 12 are moved so as to recede from each other by two trapezoidal screws 11, 11 of a trapezoidal screw unit 10 being rotated to be driven, two arm members 42, 43 of an X arm part 41 in an arm unit 40 rotate around their center portion to thereby move two sliders 32, 32 of a slide rail unit 30 so as to recede from each other. With the movements, a lower end of a folding door 200 is lifted and a shaft 33 of the slide rail unit 30 is moved so as to approach the trapezoidal screws 11, 11 of the trapezoidal screw unit 10, whereby the folding door 200 is changed from an unfolded state to a folded state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
