CONTENT SERVER, CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM, CONTENT DISTRIBUTION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reading speed from a cache server when distributing multi-viewpoint media data to a client terminal.

SOLUTION: A content server comprises: a data extraction unit for reading out multi-viewpoint media data which a cache server requests for sending from an original data storage based on code information and sending it to the cache server in a time series for time stamp; and an index file generation unit for reading out the code information corresponding to the multi-view point media data sent to the cache server to rearrange it in a time series for the time stamp, and changing data position information in the code information in accordance with sequence of rearrangement to generate an index file including the code information corresponding to the multi-view point media data to be sent to the cache server.
