<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect magnetic field variation by forming a homogeneous magnetic field and to downsize. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic-flux generating coil is placed to face other coils across a conveyance surface. A coin identification sensor is constructed so as to give a prescribed slope to the end surface on the conveyance-surface side of at least the magnetic-flux generating one of the coils. In addition, the coin identification sensor is constructed to have an adjustment mechanism to adjust, according to the diameter of a coin, the slope and the position of a magnetically permeable plate placed between the conveyance surface and the coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
