<p>A refrigerator (10) is provided with an ice-making device (20) that has an ice maker (21) and an ice storage box (22). The ice maker (21) is provided with: an ice-making tray (31) for receiving water supplied from an external source; an ice removal motor (32) for removing ice from the ice-making tray (31) by rotating said tray when the water in the ice-making tray (31) freezes into ice; and a detection unit (33) for detecting the rotation position of the ice removal motor (32) and whether the amount of ice stored in the ice storage box (22) has exceeded a prescribed filling level. The refrigerator (10) is further provided with a control unit (41) for correcting the operating time of the ice removal motor (32), by using a time measurement obtained through measuring the amount of time that passes from when power is turned on and the ice removal motor (32) rotates the ice-making tray (31) until the signal from the detection unit (33) changes.</p>
