<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide good and further better monoclonal antibodies for inducing therapeutic immune responses against infections, particularly against microbial infections. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided monoclonal antibodies that bind to β-1,3-glucan, hybridoma cell lines producing the antibodies, compositions comprising the antibodies and methods of using such antibodies for treatment of microbial infections, particularly treatment against Candida albicans and Aspergillus fumigatis infections.
