<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remodel an existing portable radiological imaging system into a digital portable radiological imaging system. <P>SOLUTION: The portable radiological imaging system (10) includes: a portable base station (12) having an X-ray source (18) and a power supply (46); a wireless X-ray detector (16) configured to receive X-ray radiation from the source (18) and to generate image data based upon the received radiation; and a portable image processing system (14) removably carried by the base station (12) and configured to receive the image data from the detector (16) and to process the image data to produce and display a user-viewable image derived from the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
