<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove striped noise components included in a received signal of an underground radar device to improve visibility of an image. <P>SOLUTION: For pieces of one-dimensional image data f(t) in all reflection time axis directions in two-dimensional image data, the pieces of data are transformed into time-frequency areas by one-dimensional wavelet analysis, time-frequency data is calculated, and frequency components of vertical striped noise are calculated, after that, first filtering processing for extracting the noise components is executed, and second filtering processing for removing vertical striped noise components extracted from the original two-dimensional image data is executed to remove the vertical striped noise, and similar noise removal processing is further executed for the pieces of one-dimensional image data f(t) in all moving distance axis directions in the two-dimensional image data to remove the horizontal striped noise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
