<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suck liquid through a nozzle with a small suction force. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 includes a tank 3 which sores ink, an inkjet head 2 which discharges ink supplied from the tank 3 as an ink droplet from a nozzle face 2b in which multiple nozzles 2a are formed, a pressure regulation pump 4 which regulates pressure of ink on the nozzle face 2b by regulating pressure in the upper space A in the tank 3, a sweeping unit 6 which sweeps the inkjet head 2, a nozzle checking device 7 which detects defective nozzles, and a control part 10. When ink is sucked through partial nozzles 2a including defective nozzles detected by the nozzle checking device 7 using the sweeping unit 6, the control part 10 controls the pressure of ink on the nozzle face 2b to be higher than a specified pressure by controlling pressure in the upper space A by means of the pressure regulation pump 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
