PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction cooker in which the temperature sensor is capable of accurately detecting temperature even of a nonmagnetic low-resistance pan such as an aluminum pan.
SOLUTION: A control circuit 3 comprises: switching means for switching the capacity of a resonance capacitor 2f according to the material of a pan so as to change the resonance frequency; temperature detection means for detecting the temperature of the pan; an inverter 2 which supplies a high-frequency current near the resonance frequency that has been changed by the switching means to a heating coil; current detection means for detecting a current flowing through the inverter 2; pan material identification means for identifying whether the pan is a nonmagnetic low-resistance pan such as an aluminum pan or a magnetic pan such as an iron pan based on the detection result of the current detection means; and control means for controlling the inverter 2 based on the pan temperature detected by the temperature detection means, the control means prohibiting the power input equal to or greater than the upper limit value and decreasing the upper limit value in accordance with the lapse of cooking time or the increase in the integrated value of the input power, if the identification result of the pan material identification means is a nonmagnetic low-resistance pan.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
