<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective structure of an erosion control structure, which facilitates the attachment and replacement of a protective member protecting the upper surface of a steel frame structure and has high durability. <P>SOLUTION: The protective structure 5 has a steel member which comprises a flat plate material 12 (not shown in the figure) of the steel frame structure 10, a pair of spacer members 31a, 31b disposed at the upper part of horizontal materials 11a, 11b (not shown in the figure) and a plurality of connection plates 32 attached so as to be disposed over the spacer members 31a, 31b, and configures the top end face of the erosion control structure. Then, a plurality of protective members 40 in a rectangular flat plate shape comprising an elastic body or the like are freely detachably fixed with a plurality of bolts to the upper surface of the spacer members 31a, 31b and the connection plates 32. Thus, by the protective members 40, the upper surface of the steel member configuring the top end face of the erosion control structure to be easily damaged is protected.
