<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a circular dichroism dispersion meter for easily measuring circular dichroism dispersion nondestructively with no processing without transmitting light to a liquid/cream/gel sample of low transparency. <P>SOLUTION: The circular dichroism dispersion is measured by making measurement light 28 which is a counterclockwise or clockwise circularly polarized light be incident from an incidence surface 20 of a prism 16, making it be incident with the incidence angle of 80° to a sample mounting surface 22 of the prism 16 where a gel sample 26 is mounted, having it totally reflected on the sample mounting surface 22, detecting each of the measurement light 28 emitted from an emission surface 24 respectively and measuring respective absorbance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
