<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crusher capable of crushing optical fibers to the powder with uniform particle size. <P>SOLUTION: The crusher has a crushing tank 1 and a rotor 2. The crushing tank 1 includes: a disk-shaped bottom face 11; a sidewall 12 erected around the bottom face 11; and a discharge hole 13 formed on the bottom face 11.
