<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate design of a steering by utilizing existing modules. <P>SOLUTION: A steering design support device comprises: input means to accept inputs of coordinates of four reference points, that is, a steering wheel position reference point, a first joint reference point, a second joint reference point, and a steering gear gearing reference point; reference point arrangement means to arrange the four reference points in a three dimensional space; existing module selecting means to accept a choice of a model of an existing module to be disposed in the three dimensional space from an existing module database that stores models of existing modules, such as a column module, an intermediate shaft module, and a steering gear module; and existing module arrangement means to dispose the model of the selected existing module in the three dimensional space based on the four reference points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
