<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard for a temporary scaffold capable of adapting to a wide variety of conditions of a clearance gap between a leg and a floor material in a temporary scaffold as well as being easily carried in and out of a field site as it is light and less bulky. <P>SOLUTION: A baseboard for a temporary scaffold comprises: a baseboard body 3 placed upright between legs 2 of the temporary scaffold using fixing brackets 7 on both edges; a horizontal member 6 placed between the baseboard body 3 and a floor material 5. The fixing bracket 7 comprises: a hook 9 fixed on the upper surface of both edge parts of the baseboard body 3; a rotating pin 10 fixed on a vertical plate 3a of the baseboard body 3 to enable it to vertically move and rotate in the horizontal direction, and disengaged on the surface of the opposite side of the hook 9 against the legs 2 of the temporary scaffold.
