<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil supply device for an internal combustion engine, which reduce the frequency of insufficient state of supply amount of lubricating oil to a target portion caused by abnormal conditions of a valve characteristic changing device. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricating oil supply device for the internal combustion engine 1 controls hydraulic pressure of the internal combustion engine 1 including the valve characteristic changing device 55 which changes valve timing VT of an intake valve 51 and includes a hydraulic control mechanism 30 which changes control pressure PC for controlling pressure in an oil supply path 21 for supplying the lubricating oil to the target portion of the internal combustion engine 1. The lubricating oil supply device maintains the control pressure PC at a second control pressure PC2 larger than a first control pressure PC1 based on the occurrence of the abnormal conditions of the valve characteristic device 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
