摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase design flexibility while ensuring the connection strength of steel frame members at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In a steel frame member connection method, a plurality of steel frame members 50 are axially (longitudinal direction) connected with each other via nodes 110, web plates 402, and a stem portion 450. Stress is transmitted from one of the steel frame members 50 to the nodes 110, 111 via the end plate 54 of the steel frame member 50 and studs 60, and then transmitted to another steel frame members 50 via the end plates 54 and the studs 60 of another steel frame members 50. Stress is also transmitted via the web plates 402 to the nodes 110, 111, and then to another steel frame members 50 via the web plates 402. Therefore, the steel frame members 50 can be connected to each other with a great variety of connection angles with ease at a low cost compared with a case of direct connection of the steel frame members 50 such as welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
