<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder block which can increase a temperature of oil at an early stage without augmenting the load on an oil pump. <P>SOLUTION: The cylinder block 100 includes an oil path 50. The oil path 50 includes an oil reservoir 52 installed at a position where heat can be exchanged with a cylinder bore 30, an oil trap passage 51 which guides the oil from a cylinder head 10 above to the oil reservoir 52, and a sub oil return passage 53 which guides the oil from the oil reservoir 52 to the inside of a crank case 21 below, and guides the oil from up above to down below by the action of gravity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
