PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor that is improved to reduce the number of components in the connection of a neutral point.

SOLUTION: An electric motor of this invention comprises a slot portion 2a in which a plurality of first notches where an extension line 3b on the neutral point side of a coil 3 can be disposed are formed on the opposed wall surfaces in the radial and/or the circumferential direction of a stator 109, and a connection terminal where a second notch is formed at the position corresponding to the formation position of the first notches. The connection terminal is pressed into the slot portion 2a so as to connect the extension lines 3b on the neutral point side mutually.
