<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball bearing with a wheel rotation speed detecting magnetic encoder for a motorcycle which can accurately detect the rotation speed of wheels of the motorcycle. <P>SOLUTION: As a magnetic material for a magnetic encoder, a plastic magnet composed of a magnetic powder and a plastic is used. Since the plastic magnet can be filled with a larger quantity of the magnetic powder in comparison with a case of using a rubber magnet, magnetic characteristics can be improved. With this structure, a large number of poles can be provided in a circumferential direction of the magnetic encoder, and the rotation speed of the wheels of the motorcycle can be accurately detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
