<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation map creating apparatus and a method thereof capable of avoiding unintended alteration or preventing configuration characteristics of existing deformation map from being largely changed. <P>SOLUTION: The deformation map creating apparatus comprises: an alteration setting section 4 that sets an alteration main target which is a main target to be altered on an existing deformation map, and sets the alteration main target and a setting range of a specific target; a characteristic extraction section 6 that extracts configuration characteristics of the existing deformation map; and a deformation setting section 7 that holds the configuration characteristics and alters the existing deformation map based on the alteration main target and the setting range of the alteration main target to create a new deformation map. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
