A plant for individual measurement of a quantity related to consumption of energy of a certain type by tenants in a house (1 ) with several tenants is designed to have for each tenant at least a device for measuring said quantity, which comprises a thermoelectric generator with two electrodes, a first of which being designed to be arranged on a hollow body inside which a medium is intended to flow, so that the generator generates electric energy as a consequence of a temperature difference between the two electrodes created by flow of medium inside said body and this energy is fed to and by that drives a unit (14) included in the device (9) and designed to indicate a measure of said energy consumption.
