<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for a water stop valve of a simple structure that can perform an opening and closing operation by using an existing valve-opening implement by being installed at a stem of the water stop valve, can open and close a water stop valve different in nominal diameter by making the valve-opening implement commonly usable, and can surely open and close the water stop valve without damaging the water stop valve and the valve-opening implement by strongly gripping the water stop valve while wobbling is not generated by the valve-opening implement. <P>SOLUTION: The cap for the water stop valve opens and closes the water stop valve 21 by operating a cap body 20 having an attachment engagement hole to the upper end of the stem 22 of the water stop valve 21 by using the valve-opening implement 26. The cap for the water stop valve is constituted of an engagement polygonal face 30 on the upper side at which the cap body 20 is engaged with a polygonal hole formed at the valve-opening implement 26, and an engagement slope 31 which is sloped toward the outside direction of the lower side rather than the engagement polygonal face 30, and the cap body 20 and the polygonal hole are engaged with each other in a line-contact state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
