<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique for determining types of pans placed on an electromagnetic cooker so that fries are cooked with a plurality of pans as it is necessary to perform suitable control for keeping oil at predetermined heat-retaining temperature depending upon what kind of pan (size and material of the pan) is placed on the electromagnetic cooker since the temperature that a temperature detection sensor detects is different at the start of heating by an excitation coil with predetermined input in a state in which the pan is placed on the electromagnetic cooker if an iron-made pan of the same kind is different in size, and the temperature that the temperature detection sensor detects is different with kinds (size and material) of pans so that the temperature of oil put in the pan deviates from the predetermined heat-retaining temperature (for example, 180°C) under control based upon the detection by the temperature detection sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The material of the pan is determined from a difference in drive frequency of a control signal when the pan is heated with constant input, and the size of the pan is determined from differences in detected temperature among temperature detection sensors arranged at positions different in a radial direction of the excitation coil. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
