<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication system which allows a user to easily obtain information about execution of remote control of an electric appliance. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 10 instructs an infrared communication unit 13 to send an infrared signal including a control code, and then instructs a telephone communication unit 11 to originate (send), to a management device S, information about execution of remote control ("user ID," "appliance name," "place" and "operation description" of an object of remote control, and timing <time of day> when remote control was executed).
