In the light source device (100), a light emitting module (110) is contained within a body (120), and a front cover (130) having a light outlet window (131) for extracting the light of the light emitting module (110) to the outside of the body is attached to an opening section (121) provided in the front face of the body (120). The front cover (130) has engagement claws (134a-134f), and the front cover (130) is attached to the body (120) by engaging the engagement claws (134a-134f) with a claw receiving section (124) provided to the outer surface of the body (120).
