The socket has a socket body comprising an upper socket body aperture (2) that is closed by a socket cover (4). The socket cover is made of metallic material in a rectangular or quadratic shape, and includes a cover web rotating around edges of the cover. The cover web has hinge fittings (10) formed as a structural unit with a set of web elements (6, 9), which are aligned with the hinge fittings. Another set of web elements (7, 8) has respective hinge fitting recesses (12), and is arranged adjacent to the former set of web elements, where the fittings extend through the respective recesses.
