Disclosed is a communication terminal device which has improved antenna performance in a high frequency band, and reduced size and thickness. In the device, a circuit board (104) is provided in a first housing (101). A wireless circuit (105) is provided on the circuit board (104). A first antenna element (110) is electrically connected to the wireless circuit (105), and resonates at high frequencies. A second antenna element (111) is electrically connected to the wireless circuit (105), and resonates at low frequencies. A coupling adjusting circuit (108) is provided on the circuit board (104), and adjusts the frequency characteristics of the second antenna element (111) or changes the degree of coupling between the first antenna element (110) and the second antenna element (111).
