<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing film by which film blocking hardly occurs and fish eyes of the film are reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin is extruded from an annular die as a melted resin in a tubular shape to obtain a tubular film 3, which is then folded into a flat shape with a stabilizer plate 4 to obtain a flat folded film 5. Folds on both ends of the flat folded film 5 are trimmed away to obtain a doubled film, which is split into two films. Two films are each heated to a temperature 5 to 30°C lower than a melting point of the thermoplastic resin, using a plurality of heating rolls 7 and 8, to obtain heated films, which are held and pressed between a heating roll 9 whose surface is a mirror surface and an elastic roll 10 whose surface is a non-mirror surface to obtain a pressed film.
