PURPOSE: A lighting device for cultivating a plant is provide to improve the growth rate of a plant using an external electrode fluorescent lamp which supplies the light of a wavelength in various areas with abundant quantity. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of external electrode fluorescent lamps is arranged to be in parallel by being separated in a lighting part(20). An electrode holder(30) on a guide rail connects the outer electrodes of each fluorescent lamp in the parallel to be electrified. A holding bar(80) fixes the lighting part and the electrode holder. The holding bar includes a plurality of combining holes in the right and left sidewall along a longitudinal direction at a constant interval. A bonding groove is formed in the backside of the guide rail of the electrode holder.
