<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and continuously performing thermoforming at high speed in which, in the process from size enlargement to mold release in the thermoforming for a stretched polyester resin sheet, particularly, heat treatment is performed at a high temperature of a preheat sheet temperature or higher before the size enlargement, and the mold release is carried out. <P>SOLUTION: The method for continuously producing a thermoformed article is characterized in that, in a method of performing thermoforming using a stretched sheet of a polyester resin, using a forming mold formed of a material whose thermal permeability (kJ/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>s<SP POS="POST">1</SP>/<SP POS="POST">2</SP>K) is 2.0 to 20 and whose temperature is regulated to the prescribed temperature of the Tg°C to (Tg+250°C) of a forming material, and by using at least one selected from: a heating step (1) by contact of a high temperature gas or a high temperature gas flow with the back surface of a size-enlarged body and/or by infrared irradiation; and a cooling step (2) by a cooling means by contact of a gas flow for cooling with the back surface of the size-enlarged body, a cycle having an apex with a prescribed fixed temperature and a bottom point with a fixed temperature is formed in the orbit of the surface temperature of the forming mold, and size enlargement and mold release are repeatedly performed in the cycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
