<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch with a lock mechanism in which the height dimension of a housing can be suppressed even though an operation stroke is set slightly longer, and the reliability of conduction is not damaged even though an excessive operation load is applied. <P>SOLUTION: The push switch 1 includes: a body part 2 formed by supporting an operation slider 3, an actuator 7 with a wiper 5 and a return spring 8 with a housing 6; a heart cam mechanism (engagement pin 9 and cam groove 3a) in the body part 2; an operation knob 4 provided as a lid on the operation slider 3; and a fixed contact 10a provided on a circuit board 14 to/from which the wiper 5 is contactable and separable, or the like. When the operation slider 3 is moved vertically, the actuator 7 is driven to slidingly move in a horizontal direction. The housing 6 is mounted on an outer shell case (upper case 11) holding the circuit board 14 by snap coupling, and a space S exists between the housing 6 and the circuit board 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
