<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue cooking in a suitable operation mode even if a wrong pan type is determined. <P>SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker comprises: a control portion 15 which controls the operation of an inverter circuit 9 of the induction heating cooker; pan type determination means 17 of determining material of a pan 18 from the operation state of the inverter circuit 9; and temperature detection means 16 of detecting the temperature of one or both of a first switching element 7 and a second switching element 8 directly or indirectly. The control portion 15 stops the inverter circuit 9 from operating when the temperature that the temperature detection means 16 detects exceeds a temperature threshold preset in the temperature control portion 15, and the pan type determination means 17 determines the material of the pan 18 again to continue the cooking in a suitable operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
