<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front surface panel device that has an elaborate design while avoiding interference between a display panel and a peripheral member. <P>SOLUTION: A front surface panel device 1 is provided with a display panel 2 that is rotatable in the opening/closing direction, a power transmission mechanism that is connected with the opening/closing operation of the display panel 2, and a lock mechanism that locks/unlocks the display panel 2 in a closed state. The power transmission mechanism 4 includes a biasing lever 7 that is connected to the rear surface side of the display panel 2 and movable forward/backward, a drive gear 8, a rotation lever 9 that is provided by projecting on the drive gear 8 and connected with the biasing lever 7, a relay gear 10 that engages with the drive gear 8, and a rack member 11 that engages with the relay gear 10 and movable upward/downward. The rack member 11 supports a rotating shaft 2d of the display panel 2. As the drive gear 8 rotates in conjunction with the opening/closing operation of the display panel 2, the rack member 11 is driven by the rotation of the relay gear 10, and then the rotating shaft 2d moves upward/downward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
