<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost guardrail that composes a wooden beam using a thinning material while securing a sufficient strength. <P>SOLUTION: A guardrail comprises a main beam 1 that is bent so as to form a crest part 13 and valley parts 11 and 12 alternately on both sides and in which a surface 10a with more valley parts appearing than the crest parts is disposed toward the roadway side, a column 2 for supporting the main beam at a proper interval, wooden beams 4 and 5 disposed along the length of a plurality of valley parts that appear on the surface of the main beam toward the roadway side, and a connection member 3 that is included midway between the main beam and the column to connect both the main beam and the wooden beam with the column. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
