<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of automatically setting the steering angle of an outdrive device at a steering center, when the steering angle of the outdrive device becomes unknown. <P>SOLUTION: A steering system 100 for outdrive devices includes: a hydraulic steering actuator 20 which turns the outdrive device 10 by sliding of a piston provided inside a cylinder sleeve; a spool valve 30 for switching the sliding direction of the piston by changing the flow direction of hydraulic oil of the hydraulic actuator 20 for steering; and a controller 40 for changing the flow direction of the hydraulic oil by transmitting a control signal to the spool valve 30. The steering system includes a piston detection sensor 27 for detecting a piston which is positioned when the steering angle of the outdrive device 10 becomes the steering center. The controller 40 controls the spool valve 30 on the basis of an electric signal from the piston detection sensor 27 and sets the steering angle of the outdrive device 10 to the steering center. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
