<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small bundle banding and management apparatus which provides means for preventing reception of un-banded small bundle and incorrect payment of bills. <P>SOLUTION: A small bundle banding and management apparatus 1 has a small bundle cashbox 10 which stores small bundles T each of which is a predetermined number of bank bills banded with a paper band S after piling small bundles T on a stage 18; and discharges the small bundles T from the small bundle bill cashbox 10 through a port 16 thereof. The small bundle bill cashbox 10 is provided with a counting sensor 24 to the port 16 thereof to detect the paper band S on the small bundle T using a reflected light from the paper band S. The small bundle T is stopped at the upper most end preset in the port 16 where the counting sensor 24 is positioned; and the counting sensor 24 monitors the paper band S on the small bundle T when passing through the port 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
