<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of excellently cleaning an image carrier without providing an exclusive member for fixing a cleaning sheet. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: first driving sections 47 and 48 for normally or reversely rotating an image carrier 28 for carrying a developer image; a fixing section 31 for pressing and transporting a paper transported from a transfer section 16, and fixing the developer image; second driving sections 47 and 49 for driving the fixing section 31 for transporting the paper; and a control section 40. The control section 40 controls the first and second driving sections 47, 48 and 49 to normally drive the image carrier 28 and to drive the fixing section 31 when an image forming control is executed, and controls the first and second driving sections to reversely rotate the image carrier 28 brought into contact with a cleaning sheet 50 in a state in which the cleaning sheet 50 is sandwiched by the fixing section 31 when a cleaning control is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
