The tool has a position indicator attached on a surface of the hair-cutting tool by using a magnetic support, where the position indicator is in the form of a hemispherical or spherical vial. The magnetic support is provided such that the position indicator is secured against displacement on the surface of the hair-cutting tool. The magnetic support includes a magnetic part connected to a part of the position indicator, and another magnetic part connected to a part of the hair-cutting tool.
