PURPOSE: A display device is provided to enable a user to easily determine the defect of the signal wiring due to a crack. CONSTITUTION: A detection electrode(YSE,XSE) is arranged in a detection area of a contact location. A transparent substrate is arranged outside the detection area and includes a first signal wiring. One side of a first signal wiring is connected to the detection electrode and the other thereof includes a first electrode terminal(TRM1). A FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit)(FPC2) is connected to the first electrode terminal, supplies a driving signal to the detection electrode through the first signal wiring and receives the detection signal from the detection electrode. A display panel displays an image based on an image signal of an external system. A coordinate input device is arranged on the display surface of the display panel.
