PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a user-friendly stereoscopic image display device.

SOLUTION: In a 3D TV displaying 3D images, a 3D image designation button for designation of a 3D image is additionally displayed in the image of an operation panel for operating a disk player which is connected communicably via a communication unit and transmits the image to the communication unit. When designation for selection of the 3D image designation button is obtained from a user, transmission of the 3D image is designated to the disk player via the communication unit (S113). This causes the 3D image from the disk player to be displayed.
