<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wadding which uses fused fibers as looped fibers and has improved bulkiness and improved washing resistance, and to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a product using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The wadding (10) of the invention is a conjugate fiber, in which filaments (23) are integrated using core yarns (25), composed of fused fibers, opened to form looped fibers, and contains a part (24) at which looped fibers are mutually fused.
