<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head guard capable of reducing weight, and capable of preventing generation of rust, and a forklift having the head guard. <P>SOLUTION: This head guard 10a of the forklift includes a pair of right-left pillars 11b and 11a, a pipe 12 arranged on the upper end of the pillars 11a and 11b and extending in the substantially horizontal direction, and a roof 13 fixed to the right-left pipes 12. The roof 13 has first through-holes 16 on roof side installation surfaces 13c opposed to the pipes 12. The pipe 12 has second through-holes 17 communicating with the first through-holes 16 on a pipe side installation surface 12c opposed to the roof side installation surface 13c. The roof 13 and the pipe 12 are fixed in a state of allowing the roof side installation surface 13c and the pipe side installation surface 12c to abut on each other by connecting members 15 inserted into the first through-holes 16 and the second through-holes 17 and fixing members 14a arranged on the reverse side 12d of the pipe side installation surface 12c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
