<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen sharing system capable of data transfer from an information processing apparatus to a shared area even when a user operates on the shared area in a sharing server. <P>SOLUTION: Information on drag operation is received from a client device, and it is determined whether drag operation of any other device than the client device is performed on a shared area. When it is determined that drag operation of any other device than the client device is performed, the information on drag operation of the client device is stored.
