<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and an operation method thereof for determining whether to execute a control command on the basis of duration of a touch signal or contact area on a touch display panel which is pressed. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus includes a touch display panel, a panel touch control unit, and an image adjustment unit. The panel touch control unit is electrically connected to the touch display panel. The image adjustment unit is electrically connected to the touch display panel. During operation, the touch display panel includes a content display area and a touch menu area that are capable of size adjustment. The panel touch control unit adjusts size of the touch menu area on the basis of a received touch signal. The touch display panel generates the touch signal on the basis of contact area.
