<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that is capable of acquiring, when observing a picture acquired with a plurality of arranged imaging elements, a wide screen picture at high speed while restraining the picture quality from being degraded by harmful lights reflected and scattered in non-imaged areas between the imaging elements. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises a light source means 10, an illuminating optical system 20 that guides lights from the light source means to an irradiated face 30, a specimen stage 31 for mounting an object 32 of observation on the irradiated face, an imaging optical system 40 for forming an image of the object on the irradiated face, an imaging element section 50 where a plurality of imaging elements 53 are arranged on the imaging face of the imaging optical system, and a light intercepting means that reduces luminous fluxes coming incident on areas where the plurality of imaging elements of the image element section are not arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
