<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device and a calibration method especially capable of making an input operation for calibration easy, improving calibration accuracy and gaining operation responsiveness excellent in linearity. <P>SOLUTION: The input device includes: a first substrate having first division resistance layers 31a, 31b on a surface of the substrate located in an input region 33 with first electrode layers 38a, 38b formed on both sides of the first division resistance layers in an X direction; a second substrate having second resistance layers 36a, 36b on a surface of the substrate facing the first resistance layer with second electrode layers 37a, 37b formed on both sides of the second resistance layers in a Y direction; and a control part capable of performing calibration on electric potential distribution within the surfaces of the division resistance layers on the basis of a plurality of voltage profiles Vx, Vy obtained by an input operation along a peripheral part of the input region 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
