<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of attaining the reduction of production cost without deteriorating performance. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 28 is provided with a pair of beads 34, a carcass 36 stretched over both beads and a belt 38 positioned outside of the carcass 36 in its diameter direction. Each of both beads 34 is provided with a core 46 including a wire extending in the circumferential direction. The number of strands of the core 46 is ≥2. The number of turns of the core 46 is ≥3 times of the number of the strands. The belt 38 comprises a ply 52a and a ply 52b. The center P1 of the width of the ply 52a is arranged apart from the center P2 of the ply 52b in the axial direction. When the tire 28 is fitted to a normal rim having a flange, the outside position of wire in the diameter direction is positioned more inside in the radius direction than the outer end in the radius direction of the flange. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
