<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CNG filling device capable of stopping filling of CNG at an optional time point. <P>SOLUTION: This CNG filling device 20 includes: a filling nozzle 24 to be detachably attached to a CNG filling opening 12A communicated with an on-vehicle CNG tank 14; a flow rate control valve 26 which controls a CNG supply flow rate from a gas accumulator 18 to the filling nozzle 24; a pressure sensor 28 which detects the supply pressure P of the CNG to be supplied to the CNG tank 14; a stopping condition input section 32 which inputs a target rate α relative to a predetermined pressure Pmax, at which the CNG tank 14 is supposed to be fully filled up, as a filling stopping condition for stopping filling of the CNG; and a control unit 34 which controls the flow rate control valve 26 in response to the filling stopping condition. When the supply pressure P reaches and exceeds a pressure Pα obtained by multiplying the predetermined pressure Pmax by the target rate α, the control unit 34 closes the flow rate control valve 26 so as to gradually reduce the CNG supply flow rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
