<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting structure for vehicle, capable of attaining weight reduction and minimum requirement of injection molding. <P>SOLUTION: The component mounting structure for vehicle includes: an interior base member having a first skin layer 11, a resin forming layer 13 and a second skin layer 12 in order, wherein the first skin layer, the resin foaming layer and the second skin layer are formed from polypropylene resin or the like; and a component 5 mounted on a component mounting part provided at the interior base member. The component mounting part is configured so that a thin-layer part formed by pressing the interior base member in a thickness direction is bent to the side of the second skin layer 12 and is in contact with a surface on the second skin layer 12 side (preferably, the laminated surface is fused).
