<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extending, as much as possible, the life of an organism propagation medium having a function for propagating useful bacteria without periodically charging the useful bacteria. <P>SOLUTION: In a sludge modifying machine 1 having an inflow pipe 7 of a liquid to be modified and an outflow pipe 9 of a reformed liquid, and storing and reforming the liquid to be modified, a plurality of air lift pipes 2 connecting the bottom to the top are provided outside the modifying machine, and the liquid to be modified is allowed to pass from above a plant humus medium in a cage-shaped container 8 placed in the center part in the machine in a downflow therethrough. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
